The **Alaskans** were a minor metagroup who lasted two iterations, [[i28]] and [[i29]]. They were founded by TheFartingGamer and EurekaEsperi. On i28, they played for the first time together in their eponymous nation of Alaska. Alaska developed several towns, including Anchorage, Victoria, Pavlovskaya, and Ivanovich, built to varying degrees of beauty.

The settlement of Victoria led to a conflict with neighboring Kingdom of Cascadia to their south. The Alaskans tried to avoid the war since neither of the leaders could log in, but the admin [[uhFiliate]] approved it anyway. During the war, Alaska was conquered in about one hour by the Cascadians and the [[British]], however, the Alaskan soldier [[numried]] gained the respect of the British for his heroic defense of Anchorage.

Despite the failure of Alaska, the group surprisingly stuck together again for a second round in Filicraft 2. They founded the nation of the Ottomans, and had their capital in Constantinople and secondary towns Kibris and Damascus. They became the second-largest nation on the server. With the server dying, they scheduled a mid-week war with the rival British (the same group from before) to end it all. However, the leadership once again quit the server the day before due to British antics, and the Battle of Constantinople ended in their defeat.

Despite some hints of playing Turkey again in [[Yugo Wars]], TheFartingGamer was not seen for that server or since. Other members EurekaEsperi and onehallyu (cypruse) are occasionally seen playing, even as recently as [[i38]]. One member, numried, has since become a very famous player.
