Phoenicia was a confederation of three towns (Byblos, Tyre, and Tripoli) in the western Levant during the bronze age collapse.
Foreign Policy
Phoenicia played a major role in server politics, directing its ire towards Troy, and attempting to build alliances with the rest of the server. After several memeraids (including one in which Phantomguy, fully armored, was punched to death by a naked), an assassination attempt at a chariot race, and other acrimonious events, Phoenicia held a larp-council in Tyre to form a plan for a coalition to effect an invasion of Troy. While this plot was initially successful, the Invasion of Troy was a failure. A newly resurgent Norse metagroup swelled Petra into a super power, ultimately defeating Phoenicia, fully capturing Tyre and causing the federation to disband.
Phoenicia's propaganda played up the Ba'al worship aspect of the nation, and utilized several schizo troll videos and images in order to effect this ethos. Phoenicia built a statue of Ba'al, replete with a fire sacrifice pit. Several players, including Jesus himself were pushed into the fiery pit.
