The Onions era refers to the period of /int/craft history from late 2019 to mid-2020 during which three successive iterations were hosted by Onions. These servers were Yugo Wars (i30) in October 2019, Middle East (i31) in February 2020, and i32 in May-June 2020.

The iterations of the Onions era were characterized by unique regional crops, development of advanced plugins (such as Nodes), mass advertising (resulting in a huge demographic shift for the server), and the drama around Onions himself. The most prominent metagroups active during the Onions era were Strykergang, the British, TaP, Crippogang, and Haan's group.

Some commentators view the Onions era as part of a larger continuum of iterations, beginning with the two Filicraft servers (i28 and i29) that preceded it, and ending with World War 1 (i34), hosted by Onions collaborator xethyr. Onions would return to host Ukrainecraft (i37) two years later in mid-2022, but unlike his earlier three hosting rounds, this server is generally considered a failure.
