Jonathan
Jonathan is a former major metagroup leader and server janitor. He first joined /int/craft during i28. He was a nation leader on iterations 28, 29, 30, 31, and 34. He was a janny, and leading assistant to the hosts Onions and Xethyr, on iterations 30, 31, 32, 34, and 38. On all those iterations except the latter, he was also the only person on the server besides the host to have an operator account. He has been a contributor to the Wordpress and hosts the map archive. His YouTube channel, “Rakesh Cristoval”, was a main source for /int/craft videos on the platform, until it was deleted in 2022.
In his role as nation leader, he led his British metagroup to great success on many servers, turning them from a random collection of mostly-new players into one of the most relevant groups of their day. In his role as janny, he largely avoided the controversy of the hosts he served under, being viewed as a mild-mannered emissary between the hosts and the playerbase. He did, however, make some enemies as a result of his nations' sometimes shifty diplomacy, among them manslay3r, Brogrammer, and Onion Wizard.

i28
Town: St. John's, British Empire
Jonathan was invited to play /int/craft from his group on 4craft. Since they ended up not playing, he chose to join the British Empire instead, becoming its leader by default. Viewing the server as “4craft but with historical nations”, a concept even more appealing to him than 4craft itself, and being especially interested in the 1870s Americas theme, he devoted himself heavily to the server during the pre-launch. He aggressively positioned Britain as a major power, in opposition to the dominant United States and Deseret Mormons, building an alliance of nations to that end.
Since he wasn't present on the server's first day, the initial in-game leadership, and mayorship of the capital, St. John's, was delegated to his second-in-command, Itsame. Jonathan fought with his troops in the Battle of Columbus, the Battle of Alaska, and the Battle of Cuba. He was the main builder of the autistic St. John's Fort, which never saw siege.
i29
Town: London, England
On Filicraft 2, he was a leader of England, along with Itsame. He orchestrated the triumphant allied success in the Battle of Constantinople.
i30
Town: Split, Croatia
Prior to Yugo Wars, Jonathan had gotten to know the admin hopeful, Onions. He partnered with Onions to help him run and moderate the server, and became Onions' right-hand man.
As a player, he was de facto leader of Croatia, but in-game was mayor of the secondary town of Split. Croatia was victorious in the Battle of Monkeydonia, the Siege of Zagreb, and the Battle of Sicily. He helped the Romanians in the Second Battle of Skopje. He was one of the four Croat signatories of the Treaty of Bucharest.
i31
Town: Baghdad, Iraq
For Middle East, he continued as Onions' assistant. In-game, he split off from his group in Egypt to lead Iraq with Myron_N_Gaines and Cryostat. However, the two nations remained closely aligned, and Jonathan remained a member of Egyptian high command. In war, he participated in the first part of the Six-Hour War, betraying Kuwait by not fighting against Syria. When Kuwait invaded Iraq, he fought them and the USA to a draw in the east, with help from allies. The iteration blackpilled him on /int/craft politics and he desired to take a less-invested approach for future iterations.
Although the server ended with host Onions widely detested by the community, Jonathan himself avoided much of the blame for its failings.
i32
Towns: Petrograd, Russia → Rome, Italy → Amsterdam, Netherlands → Connacht, Ireland
Jonathan helped with the i32 server development, including leading the production of the first ever released Nodes map. In-game, he was relatively inactive, but mainly played with his group in Russia. He fought alongside Onions in the defense of Italy and Rome, with the Netherlands in the Dutch-Norwegian War, and for Ireland in the Irish Wars.
i34
Town: London, British Commonwealth
After i32, he intended to retire from /int/craft, but was roped back in by his friend Xeth for World War 1. Jonathan played a major part in helping with the development of the server, including with the making of the map and Nodes map. In-game, he returned to leadership, once again with his group as the British Empire. Although his diplomacy was initially poor (Britain became diplomatically isolated during the Africa struggle), the British emerged victorious in their wars against Serbia, the Ottomans, Spain, and Persia. After i34, he disbanded his metagroup and withdrew from being an influential person.
Epochcraft 2
Town: Rhizon, Illyria
Jonathan barely played Epoch 2, but nonetheless led the small nation of Illyria. They succeeded in an invasion of the Goths.
i36
Town: Nagasaqui, Portugal
On Sengoku, Jonathan fought Miyoshi as a member of his friend Luepola's nation of Portugal. He played the server only during the war.
i38
Towns: Tirana, Albania → Lisboa, Portugal
Jonathan was initially uninterested in playing World War 2, but gave in to again help Xeth with development in the week before launch. During the server, he led a solo town in Albania, but then joined Falklands' town of Lisboa since he was impressed with the Portuguese architecture and ethos. As part of Portugal, he fought in their campaigns against France, Germany, and others. According to server statistics, he held the #1 rank for chunks captured, by a powergap.
